"Being part of the Saskatoon Triathlon Club (STCI) has been a whirlwind of positivity and excitement! From my early days as a JTI participant to now diving into swimming, every moment has been thrilling. The community spirit is infectious, pushing us to do our best together. Thanks to STCI’s training programs and expert coaches, my swimming has improved dramatically. Involving my family in STCI activities has brought us closer, creating countless unforgettable memories. STCI has truly transformed my life!"

“I’ve always loved biking and while I was doing my Kinesiology degree, I did some duathlon and triathlon training. I had been involved with the triathlon community before by helping organize races when I lived back in Brazil and at the WTCS in Edmonton. When I joined STCI, I started volunteering at some events and the vibe was so awesome that I decided to join the board. I have always felt really welcomed by this community. Combining my degree, and my experience as a bike mechanic at Bruce’s Cycle Works, I hope I can continue making STCI events unforgettable for this great community”

“When I discovered triathlon, I quickly realized that training could feel lonely and isolating. Although I enjoyed spending time with myself, I was also craving a sense of community and a forum to navigate this sport as a newbie, ask questions and get support. I found exactly that when I joined STCI. A huge bonus was meeting someone who was selling a bike that would fit me perfectly the same day I joined the club (a few weeks after my bike had been stolen.) Felt perfectly meant to be! And we cannot forget about the amount of cash I have saved by using my STCI discount at my favourite bike shop!"

My intro to triathlon was through the outstanding ust Try It program. As a mid-life health professional, it is important for me to be active in sustainable ways that support lifelong health and wellness. The passionate (and award-winning) volunteer leaders are incredibly well-organized and motivating. The training easily adapts to a wide range of ages, abilities, and fitness goals. The group education and training sessions are supportive and meet you where you are at, where you can choose just the right amount of challenge for you.
