Mark your calendars, Saskatoon triathletes. Our 2026 race season lineup is officially set!
As we welcome new beginnings, we also pause to say As we welcome new beginnings, we also pause to say a heartfelt thank you.

Thank you to Mike Jones, who led our club with enthusiasm over the past two years. These have been transformative years for the club as we regained strength post-pandemic and reestablished our connections and cornerstone events.

Your leadership has been instrumental in this renewal, Mike and we’re so grateful to have you continue on the board as our Living Sky Triathlon Race Director
We’re thrilled to welcome both new and returning f We’re thrilled to welcome both new and returning faces to our Executive! Get to know them a little below:

🌟Kevin Körting, President: I did my first triathlon at age seven in my hometown in Germany. After years of volunteering at local events, I decided to give triathlon a try as a young adult in 2010. I stepped away from the sport after that due to knee injuries. I moved to Canada in 2012 and rediscovered sports through swimming in 2020. Returning to triathlon in 2024 reignited my passion

Having gained so much from the past two years back in the sport, I am eager to give back and hope to serve as a worthy president for the club. My goal is to foster a safe and inclusive environment that empowers every member to reach their personal best, while strengthening our sense of community so everyone feels supported and celebrated.

🌟Patrick Lapointe, Vice-President: I started training for triathlons at age 69. While many of my peers were giving up on their bodies. I thought instead I would challenge mine. I am a long-term road biker and cross-country skier. I am now 75 and I very much enjoy the triathlon community and look forward to working with the STCI board to keep it strong.

🌟Maaya Hitomi, Secretary: I fell into triathlon by accident after years as a competitive swimmer, competing at the provincial and national level. I then took up cycling, first as a means of transport to and from school, and then was convinced to join the crosscountry team at highschool. Before I knew it. WHAM! I was a triathlete! I also have a long history in non-profit administration and currently work as an ADHD Coach and Academic Strategist, using my psychology training to support and motivate clients toward their academic and professional goals.

🌟Terra Andrews, Treasurer: Even tho all said that crossfitters sink (and i do!), I decided to try a new sport and joined JTI in 2022. I fell in love with triathlon (not so much the swimming) and the wonderful community! I did JTI again in 2023 and joined the board as a Member at Large. I thoroughly enjoyed the year. So much that I stepped up to be the treasurer last year. I am looking forward to another fun fabulous triathlon season!
