Training Updates - BCW winter cycling training program
From Andrea, via the STCI Bulletin Board:
The BCW cycling club is organizing the "17 Weeks to Spring" Winter Training Program, now entering its 7th year!
This coached program is conducted on wind trainers at at the Field House. You have the option of participating in one or two sessions a week. Sessions are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings (6:30-8:00 pm), from mid-November through mid-March.
A typical session includes a warm up, intervals, cool down, then core and stretching. Also included are two or three weekend information sessions (e.g. on nutrition, stretching or strength training, etc.) to add more tools to your training tool kit.
These sessions are great for all levels of expertise - beginner to advanced - and all age ranges - high school to retired and everything in between.
Further information and a link to on-line registration is available here:

Sessions are limited to 25 participants. The Tuesday and Thursday sessions are over half full, so if you're interested, consider signing up soon!
I have been a participant and a coach for the program for several years, so feel free to contact me if you have questions or want more information.
